Description of the Project
The PNG LNG EPC5A infrastructure carries natural gas from the processing plant in the fields at Hides, in central Papua New Guinea, to the Gulf of Papua, where a subsea pipeline conveys the gas to a liquefaction plant in Port Moresby, the capital city.
Work done and added value of our solution
As part of the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract, Spiecapag installed 451 kilometres of onshore pipelines and related equipment. To meet the logistical, construction, and maintenance requirements of this project carried out in the jungle on mountainous terrain in very rainy conditions, 350 km of permanent roads and bridges were built.
